Cody Reedman is an associate at Becker & Company with a diverse civil litigation practice. He also maintains a practice focused on creditors’ remedies and bankruptcy and insolvency where he represents and advises debtors, creditors, licensed insolvency trustees, and other stakeholders in insolvency proceedings and realization matters. He was called to the British Columbia bar in 2016 after completing his articles with a boutique bankruptcy and insolvency law firm.
Cody received Juris Doctor from University of Victoria and he received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of British Columbia. While attending law school, he participated in the Donald G. Bowman Tax Moot and the Business Law Clinic. Cody was also selected as an editor for Appeal, Uvic’s student operated law journal. During his tenure at law school, he was also an executive member of several clubs, including treasurer for the University of Victoria Law Students’ Society.
Cody has made appearances before the BC Supreme Court, BC Provincial Court, Tax Court of Canada, and various administrative tribunals. He is a member of the Vancouver Insolvency Discussion Group and BC Trial Lawyers Association.
